  • United States (48 contiguous states only)

3. Shipping Costs
  • Standard Shipping: Free curbside delivery on eligible orders within the contiguous U.S.

  • Flat Rate Shipping: May apply to certain smaller orders (displayed at checkout).

  • No Hidden Fees: All shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout.

4. Order Processing
  • Processing Time: Orders are processed within 1–2 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding holidays).

  • Cut-Off Time: Orders placed before 5:00 PM MTN begin processing the same day.

  • Weekend/Holiday Orders: Orders placed on weekends or holidays begin processing the next business day.

  • Backorders: Some items may be on backorder, which can extend shipment times.

5. Shipping Methods & Carriers
  • Carriers Used: DHL, UPS, FedEx, and Freight LTL.

  • Shipment Tracking: All orders include tracking information, provided by email once shipped.

  • Insurance: Shipments are insured against loss or damage. Please report issues promptly.

6. Estimated Delivery Times
  • Standard Shipping: 3–5 business days

  • Expedited Shipping: 1–2 business days

    ⚠️ Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to carrier delays, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control.

7. Freight LTL Deliveries
  • Free Shipping Coverage: Applies to curbside residential or business delivery.

  • Lift Gate Service: Available at an additional cost and subject to availability at your local Freight LTL terminal.

  • Inside Delivery: Not included.

  • Transit Times: Begin once your order leaves our warehouse but are not guaranteed.

8. Equipment Arrival & Inspection

When your freight shipment arrives:

  1. Inspect and count all items before signing.

  2. Confirm your count matches the delivery receipt.

  3. Check for dents, scratches, or visible damage in front of the driver.

  4. Note any discrepancies directly on the delivery receipt.

Common Notations:

  • Clear: Counts and condition correct.

  • Short: Items missing; list them. Carrier has 7 business days to locate. If not found, replacements are shipped free of charge.

  • Wrap Broken: Shrink wrap appears torn or replaced.

  • Damaged: Visible product damage.

⚠️ Customers are responsible for verifying counts and condition at delivery. Claims for missing or incorrect items must be reported within 24 hours.

9. Damaged Shipments

If your order arrives damaged:

  • Note damage on the delivery receipt.

  • Accept the shipment but clearly document the issue.

  • Contact us within 3 business days at support@smarthvacdirect.com or 303.578.5808 for assistance and replacement.

10. Missing Items
  • Report missing items within 7 days of receipt.

  • Provide your order number and details.

  • We will investigate and either ship the missing items or issue a refund.

11. Returns & Refunds
  • Eligibility: Returns accepted within 60 days of receipt for unopened, unused items in original packaging.

  • Restocking Fee: restocking fee applies.

  • Shipping Costs: Original shipping is non-refundable. Customers are responsible for return shipping fees unless the return is due to our error.

  • Refunds: Issued to the original payment method within 14 days of receiving the return.

Please retain original packaging for return shipments.

12. Incorrect Address
  • Accuracy: Customers are responsible for providing correct shipping information.

  • Returned Packages: If returned due to incorrect address, we will contact you for reshipment. Additional shipping charges may apply.

13. Delivery Issues
  • Delayed Packages: Contact us if delivery is delayed beyond estimates.

  • Lost Packages: If tracking shows delivered but you did not receive it, verify your address, check with neighbors/building management, then contact us for help.
